Sometimes parents need extra help managing children in today’s world.  If a
child exhibits behaviors that interfere with healthy family function, emotions
can rule, causing parents to feel overwhelmed and powerless.
 I offer
professional guidance to reestablish parental control.

Within a confidential and nurturing environment, you can draw on my
training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with my expertise in child
development and parent education to learn healthy parenting styles and
realistic expectations.  Change and success are built upon each parent’s
unique strengths, which makes progress more genuine and reliable.

Parents typically seek my services when:
-A child’s
tantrums are out of control, which means:
•
They continue beyond the age of three years old.
•        They last longer than 15 minutes.
•        The child cannot soothe him/herself in order to ease out of the tantrum.

-Anxiety persists for parent or child; fearfulness and worry are often
present, even when there are no obvious signs of danger.

-Someone in the family is living with a
chronic health condition, for
example:
•        Addiction
•        Migraines or fibromyalgia
•        Physical, mental or emotional challenges
•        Heightened sensory system

-There is a significant or sudden change in the parenting dynamic, such
as divorce, blended family or inclusion of another adult as parent.

-There is a major
change in the family’s life, such as moving, death, loss
of primary income or any catastrophic situation.

If you find yourself in need of help, take the next step and contact me.  It
would be an honor to be a part of your network of support.
